This increase signifies a rise of 419,131 travelers. Across Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), which also includes TRAM d'Alacant (1,693,702 movements), a total of 6,837,331 movements were registered, an 8.20% increase compared to the same period last year.
The six metro lines accounted for 4,362,966 journeys, while the four tram lines achieved 780,663 movements. The busiest day was Monday, August 31st, with 210,621 journeys.
Line 3 (Rafelbunyol/Aeroport) was the most used metro line, with 1,133,783 travelers. It was followed by Line 2 (Llíria-Torrent Avinguda) with 823,122, and Line 1 (Bétera-Castelló) with 797,935. Line 5 (Alameda/Aeroport) and Line 7 (Alameda/Torrent Avinguda) registered fewer users (570,507 and 407,481 respectively) due to tunnel works.
On the tram network, Line 4 (Mas del Rosari/Doctor Lluch) led in movements with 390,473 trips. Line 10 (Alicante-Natzaret) recorded 207,015 users, followed by Line 6 (Tossal del Rei/Marítim) with 170,870, and Line 8 (Neptú/Marítim) with 12,305.
Regarding stations, Xàtiva (L3, L5, and L9) was the busiest with 363,045 journeys. It was followed by Colón (L3, L5, L7, and L9) with 281,878, and Plaça Espanya (L1 and L2) with 219,736.
Among the metropolitan stations outside the capital, Aeroport (L3 and L5) registered the highest passenger volume with 148,265, followed by Mislata (L3, L5, and L9) with 137,219, and Torrent Avinguda (L2 and L7) with 134,742.
The most requested tram stops were Alacant (L10) with 54,460 transits, Ciutat Arts i Ciències-Justícia with 46,507, and La Cadena (L4 and L6) with 45,156.
