The annual consortium monitoring meeting, held in Valencia, has confirmed SEIMED's consolidation as a key instrument for SME competitiveness, innovation, and internationalization. The Director General of Entrepreneurship and Internationalization, Mónica Payá, highlighted the need for specialized support for companies in a constantly changing economic and technological environment.
"SEIMED - she added - precisely represents that model of close, highly specialized support connected to Europe, capable of transforming European opportunities into concrete results for our companies." She emphasized the joint work of the consortium entities and reiterated the objective of the Ministry of Industry, led by Marián Cano, and Ivace+i to strengthen SME competitiveness through value-added services.
Ivace+i's leadership allows Valencian companies to access an international network present in over 50 countries, with nearly 600 organizations, facilitating access to new markets, technological and commercial partners, European funding programs, and tools to improve their competitiveness.
The 711 services provided during the first twelve months cover areas such as internationalization, innovation, technology transfer, digitalization, sustainability, access to funding, regulatory compliance, and startup acceleration. Of these, 308 were personalized advisory services through tailored support itineraries for each company.
This work has resulted in 103 tangible success stories, including international commercial agreements, European R&D&i projects, access to funding, process improvements, and growth strategies.
The consortium, coordinated by Ivace+i, includes in the Valencian Community the Network of Technological Institutes (REDIT), the CEEI of Valencia and Castellón, the University of Alicante, the Chambers of Commerce of Valencia, Alicante, and Castellón, the Council of Chambers, the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV), and the Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea, as well as the Institute for Business Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO).
