In the Valencian Community, a total of 23,322 young people born in the year 2008 have applied for the Bono Cultural Joven 2026 during the first month since the application period opened. Data provided by the Ministry of Culture indicate high participation in this initiative.
By province, the distribution of applications has been as follows: 7,854 youths from the province of Alicante, 2,723 from Castellón, and 12,741 from Valencia. Nationally, the number of applications has already surpassed 202,000 in just one month.
This program, now in its fifth edition, grants 400 euros to each beneficiary who has reached or will reach the age of majority this year. For the first time, the funds can be used not only for the consumption of cultural products but also for the purchase of musical instruments, materials for artistic creation, and cultural courses.
