The benchmark fair for plants and flowers, landscaping, technology, and DIY aims to bring together professionals with purchasing power and facilitate direct contact between exhibiting companies and potential clients from strategic markets. The international buyer recruitment strategy covers 37 different markets this year, thanks to joint actions by Iberflora with IVACE and Cámara Valencia, as well as the involvement of associations and exhibiting companies.
Over recent months, hundreds of proposals from international buyers have been gathered, reinforcing Iberflora's value as a commercial platform and meeting point for professionals in the plant, flower, landscaping, technology, and DIY sectors.
Europe accounts for a significant portion of the proposals, with Portugal as a prominent market, followed by France, the Netherlands, Morocco, and Germany. Interest also comes from the United Kingdom, Italy, and Denmark.
Buyer recruitment also extends to the Middle East, with proposals from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, broadening commercial possibilities beyond traditional European markets. These are joined by Belgium, Poland, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Libya, the United States, Australia, Slovakia, and Lebanon, completing the 37 markets.
This commitment to attracting international buyers occurs amidst growing Spanish flower and plant sales abroad. Spanish exports reached 743 million euros in 2025, a 5% increase from the previous year. Live plants remain the main export driver with 577 million euros, notably with an 18% growth in trees and shrubs (137 million euros). Cut flowers also saw significant growth, up 34% to 107 million euros exported.
In this scenario of increasing internationalization, Iberflora will once again serve as a meeting point between Spanish supply and professional buyers. The 55th edition, held from October 6th to 8th, 2026, at Feria Valencia, will coincide with Eurobrico, the International DIY Fair, aiming to foster synergies between the green sector, garden, DIY, and hardware industries.
