Spain has achieved its second World Cup title 16 years after their first victory. The celebration of this triumph will take place this Monday, July 20th, with a grand party that will tour the main streets of Madrid and conclude in the emblematic Plaza de Cibeles.
The Spanish expedition will arrive at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport before 1:00 PM. After a brief rest at a hotel, the players will participate in traditional institutional receptions. They will be received by the Royal Household at 4:30 PM and later by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
The main celebration will begin at 6:00 PM with an open-top bus parade that will travel through the most iconic points of Madrid. Tens of thousands of fans are expected to participate. The main stage, located next to the Palacio de Comunicaciones, will host a celebration until the players' arrival, scheduled for 9:00 PM.
The route will end at Plaza de Cibeles, where a special security operation has been prepared for the players to share the title with the fans.
The celebration can be followed live on TVE and via streaming on RTVE Play. It can also be heard on RNE and followed minute-by-minute on RTVE Noticias. The festivities are scheduled to begin from 8:00 PM.
