UPV's Aeronautical Engineering Leads Cut-off Scores in Valencian Community

University of Valencia's Medicine degree is the most in-demand with 2,813 applications, as 27,223 university places are allocated.

The Conselleria of Education has published the cut-off scores for the 2026-2027 academic year, with UPV's Aeronautical Engineering having the highest score (13.504) and UV's Medicine being the most applied for.

The Sequential Academic Program (PARS) in Aeronautical Engineering (via Aerospace Engineering Degree) offered by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has recorded the highest cut-off score in the Valencian Community for the 2026-2027 academic year, at 13.504. The University of Valencia (UV) again has the most in-demand degree as a first choice with its Medicine degree, which received 2,813 applications.
In total, Valencian public universities have allocated 27,223 places out of the 27,670 offered. 80.51% of students accessed one of their top three requested options, with 55.56% securing a place in their first preference.
The top ten cut-off scores include various engineering and double degrees from UPV and UV, as well as the Medicine degree from other public universities such as the University of Alicante, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, and the Jaume I University of Castellón.
The most requested degrees as a first choice, besides UV's Medicine, were the Psychology degree (1,439 applications) and the Nursing degree (1,397 applications), both from the University of Valencia.
After the initial allocation, 447 places remain vacant. The degrees with the most vacancies are Translation and Interpretation from the University of Alicante, Tourism from the Jaume I University, Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Alicante, Translation and Interpretation from the Jaume I University, and Art History from the University of Valencia.
Seven additional allocations will take place throughout July, September, and October. As a novelty, students on the waiting list must confirm their continued interest in the first allocation before July 15th.
