Valencia CF will play the 54th edition of the Orange Trophy against Newcastle United FC this Saturday starting at 9:00 PM. After preseason tests, the team returns to Camp de Mestalla for a new match before the season begins. This year, the club has invited the mayors of the 18 towns in the Valencian Community that have suffered recent fires.
Gates will open at 7:30 PM with the team's arrival and a performance by the musical band from Vall d’Uixó. Later, the squad will take to the Camp de Mestalla pitch for the traditional team photograph. Before the match, players from the VCF Academy will enter the field with a banner inspired by the mural in Riba-roja del Túria. Finally, the band and a soprano will perform the Regional Anthem of the Valencian Community.
Valencia CF will play in their away kit (AWAY KIT), a design that pays homage to the sea and the coast's sunsets with elegant blue tones and Mediterranean Orange details. After the match, Valencian legend Vicente Guillot will present the Orange Trophy, which this year will have a sustainable design.
Meanwhile, the blood donation drive organized by Valencia CF, the VCF Foundation, and the Valencian Community Transfusion Center has seen an overwhelming response. Each donor received two free tickets for the Orange Trophy. The large turnout of fans has forced the donation queue to close before 11 AM due to logistical and safety reasons.
