The city of València faces the summer season with positive tourism expectations, consolidating a sustainable growth model that has allowed for improved sector profitability during the first half of the year.

According to data from the Fundación Visit València, city hotels have already booked 70.3% of their rooms for the month of July. This figure represents an increase of 3.7 percentage points compared to the same period last year, demonstrating the destination's ability to maintain visitor interest despite the context of global uncertainty.
Interest in the destination is also reflected in air travel demand. Online searches for flights to València for travel in July reached 6.7 million, 14% more than last year. International markets, especially Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom, continue to be key drivers for local tourism activity.
The first-half balance confirms the trend towards higher-quality tourism. Between January and May, hotel overnight stays grew by 7.9%, with a notable 15% increase in the international segment. Furthermore, the average length of stay reached 2.56 nights, 9.3% more than in the same period of the previous year.
