The project, which has an investment of 114,875.43 euros, aims primarily to increase parking capacity in the area. Once the work is completed, the space will offer 123 spaces for vehicles, 43 for motorcycles, and four adapted for people with reduced mobility.
In addition to mobility improvements, the project includes environmental enhancements through the planting of 30 new trees and the installation of an irrigation network. This intervention seeks to increase tree cover and landscape quality in an area that currently has limited vegetation.
This work is part of the Humanization of Squares and Streets Plan promoted by the Gandia City Council. According to municipal sources, in the last three years, work has been carried out on 14 streets, avenues, and squares in the city with the goal of modernizing the road network and strengthening safety for residents.
