The Visit València Foundation is organizing an immersive experience in the 13th-century underground winery, featuring tastings of Valencian cavas and regional cheeses.

The PROAVA winery, located in a 13th-century underground space, offers a unique experience to travel back to medieval Valencia while tasting cavas and cheeses.
The event, titled 'The Language of Bubbles - Effervescent Immersion', begins with a guided tour of the historic winery, where attendees will learn about the city's winemaking tradition.
Subsequently, a commented tasting of three Valencian cavas with Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) Cava de Requena will take place. Grape varieties, production methods, and the sensory profile of each sparkling wine will be detailed.
The tasting will be complemented by a snack of potatoes and picos, and a pairing with three representative cheeses from the Valencian Community.
For those who prefer a non-alcoholic option, de-alcoholized sparkling wines will be available for toasting.
