The Valencian Community will experience high temperatures this Tuesday, with yellow heat alerts predicting highs of up to 38 °C in the interior and southern coast of Valencia, and further increases expected on Wednesday and Thursday.

This Tuesday, the sky over the Valencian Community will remain mostly clear, although with some daytime cloud development in the interior of the northern half, where isolated showers and occasional thunderstorms are not ruled out. Minimum and maximum temperatures will see a slight rise, particularly noticeable along the southern coast and inland Valencia, where significantly high values are anticipated.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow level alert for the interior of the province of Valencia and the southern coast, starting at 1:00 PM. Highs of up to 38 °C are expected in these areas. In the northern interior and its coast, maximum temperatures will be around 36 °C, potentially reaching 38 °C in the southern interior of the province.
This temperature increase precedes two days forecast to be "very adverse" due to heat, on Wednesday and Thursday. The arrival of persistent westerly winds could push thermometers up to 43 °C. Aemet warns not only of health risks, especially for vulnerable groups, but also of extreme forest fire danger.
The combination of intense heat, westerly winds, and low humidity will create conditions for rapid fire spread due to the extreme dryness of the soil and vegetation.
