Due to the red alert for high temperatures, the Valencia City Council has activated advice and measures to ensure the well-being of visitors and residents.

The city of València is under a red alert for high temperatures this Wednesday, July 15. To ensure the well-being of travelers and residents, a series of recommendations and special measures have been established.
It is recommended to avoid direct sun exposure between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, as well as physical exertion. It is suggested to use shaded areas and available climate shelters, the locations of which can be consulted on the official website. The beach tourist office will remain open until 9:00 PM.
Hydration is essential. Visitors have access to nearly 80 filtered fresh water fountains distributed throughout the city. Unnecessary travel is also discouraged, and the importance of wearing light clothing, a cap or hat, and using sunscreen is reminded.
Due to weather conditions, access to the Devesa de El Saler in the L'Albufera Natural Park has been closed. Likewise, activities planned for today's Feria de Julio and the Viveros concert have been suspended.
The extraordinary street markets in Grao, Benimàmet, and Avenida del Cid will advance their closing time to 12:30 PM, while the one on the Paseo Marítimo will close at 1:00 PM. The Gulliver Park, located in the Turia Garden, will be closed today.
The use of playgrounds is discouraged due to the high temperatures their equipment can reach. In case of symptoms compatible with heatstroke, it is recommended to call 112. For updated information, you can consult the official channels of the València City Council, AEMET, Emergencies 112 Comunitat Valenciana, and the GVA 112 Avisos application.
