The Equality Department of Villena City Council is organizing the third meeting of the “Conversations on the Front Line” cycle on September 30th. This initiative, which aims to give voice to women from different generations and professional backgrounds, will culminate in a dialogue focused on the world of business and entrepreneurship.
On this occasion, the conversation will bring together the consolidated experience of retired businesswoman Paqui Ferri (Prevenvital) with the perspective of Jaqueline Ricci (Moka Taller), an entrepreneur who is now starting her path in the business world. The objective is to reflect on the changes experienced by women in business, the pending challenges, the lessons learned, and new ways of undertaking.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 30th, at 7:00 PM, at the Casa de Cultura. Participation will require prior registration through an online form. This micro-event will close the cycle, which has brought together different generations and fields such as science and sports in previous meetings.
The Councilor for Equality, Alba Laserna, highlighted that the initiative “is born with the will to center the voices, experiences, and perspectives of the women of Villena, with closeness and recognition of their life trajectories”. She emphasized that in this final meeting, the role of women in business will be recognized, both those who have paved the way and those who are now starting.
The Equality Department promotes this proposal to create intimate and participatory spaces, with a reduced capacity of 25 people to foster a close atmosphere. Additionally, each meeting is recorded to expand its reach and preserve the participants' testimonies.
For her part, the Equality Agent, M.ª Cruz Pla, pointed out that “each conversation is an opportunity to recognize the role of women in different fields and generations, showcasing diverse role models and bringing to the public stories that often do not occupy the space they deserve”.
