The Department of Parks and Gardens has started expansion works on the Municipal Dog Park, situated at the Fairgrounds. This project aims to extend the activity zone and improve the facilities of this space. As explained by council member Francisco Iniesta, a new dog area will also be created in the vicinity of Pinada Galbis to complete the spaces dedicated to companion animals.
Iniesta detailed that these dog areas are designated spaces for animals' recreation. Although they lack adapted play zones, they are equipped with protective fencing separating them from the rest of the municipal park.
The council member cautioned that the works in the Dog Park and Pinada Galbis will cause "certain inconveniences and difficulties in using these spaces." Therefore, he has requested prudence and patience from residents during the execution of the tasks, as the ultimate goal is to expand and enhance the offerings of these locations.
The planned action in Pinada Galbis will also include the repair and improvement of its entire perimeter fencing. Both areas will be progressively equipped with services and amenities such as benches, trash bins, and lighting, among other elements designed to improve the comfort and usability of these spaces.
