The meeting served to highlight the role of rural classrooms as a backbone for the territory. During the day, various proposals aimed at the educational Administration were presented with the goal of promoting an innovative teaching model, adapted to the specific needs of inland areas and ensuring equal opportunities for students.
The event had a commemorative character, as this year marks 41 years since the first conferences on this subject held in the town in 1985. That event established Viver as a key point for educational debate, a relevance that remains valid today.
The seminar's conclusions highlighted that rural education is not only a fundamental pillar for territorial equity, but also a privileged space to foster social cohesion and population roots in the rural environment.
