The call for entries, which closes on September 30, 2026, seeks to encourage initiatives related to the material and immaterial heritage of the region. Five prizes of 600 euros each will be awarded, for both projects in the development phase and those already underway with less than one year of activity.
The five award categories address different aspects of heritage: the first is dedicated to material cultural heritage, the second to immaterial cultural heritage, and the third to projects linked to natural heritage and landscape.
A fourth category is exclusively reserved for initiatives promoted by young people under 31 years of age. The fifth category will reward proposals focused on the digitalization of heritage, using technological tools, audiovisual content, or artificial intelligence.
Participation is open to adults registered in the municipalities of the Mancomunidad, as well as associations, foundations, companies, and other entities with their registered office or permanent activity in the territory. Projects must have a maximum age of one year.
Applications can be submitted preferably through the Mancomunidad's electronic headquarters. A specialized jury will evaluate the proposals based on criteria such as contribution to heritage, territorial impact, innovation, and project viability.
The resolution will be made public after the evaluation, and the awards ceremony is scheduled for October 17, 2026, during the II Fair of the Alto Palancia Mancomunidad.
This initiative is part of the Territorial Heritage Interpretation and Mediation Plan (PIMTEPA), funded by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda. It aims to use heritage as a resource to generate social, cultural, and economic activity, addressing rural challenges such as depopulation and the loss of traditional crafts.
