The fire, declared in a forest area of the municipality, has necessitated the expansion of intervention resources. Currently, a unit from the Provincial Firefighters of Castellón, four units from the Generalitat's Forest Firefighters (one of them air-lifted), and four aerial resources: a helicopter and three planes, are working in the area. A forest coordinator has also been dispatched.
The crews continue their efforts to control the flames. As of now, no data has been released regarding the affected area or the exact progression of the incident.
This fire broke out after another forest fire, which originated in Segorbe last Thursday, August 20th, was declared under control on Tuesday afternoon.
