From November 11 to 15, the region will host a diverse program including concert-recitals, dance, talks, conferences, 'revistas paseadas' (strolled reviews), and workshops. The aim is to address literature's capacity in the face of global collapse and to foster sensitivity towards the care of nature and rural communities.
Participating projects include the poetic folk of EL NAAN (Palencia) with their album "Versos del Páramo negro", the show "Ubuntu" by Cocinando Danza (València), and poet Monserrat Villar González (Salamanca). There will also be recitals by National Poetry Prize finalist Rosa Lentini (Castellón) and winner of the Premi Vicent Andrés Estellés 2024, Víctor Benavides Escrivà (València).
A conference-dialogue by poet and professor Raúl Molina (Castellnovo) on the critical edition of Julio Llamazares' poetry, as well as poetry on love and heartbreak by Macarena Tabacco Vilar (Alzira) and Ana Fernández Marín (Altura), complete the offerings. Migrant realities will be explored through the exhibition "El amor de mi visa" by Chilean artist Estefanía Henríquez Cubillos.
This year, the festival also pays tribute to writers such as Max Aub, with an open workshop at the Max Aub Foundation in Segorbe; Miguel Hernández, through a concert-recital; Amelia Díaz Benlliure, with a recital; and Jean Chalon, with a 'revista paseada' in Navajas.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Circuit Cultural Valencià of the Institut Valencià de Cultura, the Geldo City Council, the Max Aub Foundation, the Diputación de Castellón, SOSalto, Plataforma por la salud ambiental de Navajas, Grupo de Lectura de Navajas, Caminando por Navajas, and Cervezas L’Audaç.
