The Alt Maestrat Mancomunitat has kicked off the first edition of the Well-being and Life Fair, an event aiming to highlight the advantages of a territory shared by eight municipalities, considered a "guarantee of health".
The entity's president, Marta Pitarch, emphasized that the fair is starting with the ambition to grow and champion a unique, singular, and varied offering that includes gastronomy, accommodation, sports, and leisure activities. Pitarch stressed that "the rural world is not confined to a specific time of year; it is life and health 365 days a year," and these values of calm and peace should be known and promoted.
This event was made possible thanks to a subsidy from the Provincial Council of Castellón. Provincial Deputy of the Firefighters Consortium, David Vicente, accompanied Pitarch, expressing gratitude for the "crucial" financial support for the region's development.
Over two full days, the municipalities of Albocàsser, Benassal, Catí, Culla, La Torre d’en Besora, Tírig, Vilar de Canes, and La Serratella are offering workshops for all audiences. Activities cover topics such as botany, games, oil, natural cosmetics, sports, and well-being.
The Alt Maestrat Mancomunitat has thanked the collaborating institutions, businesses, shops, and the Associació l’Assegador, concluding that "thanks to them, this event is a reality today."
