The fire remains active but shows favorable evolution. Extinction teams are currently carrying out review and consolidation tasks to secure the perimeter and prevent new flare-ups in the most sensitive areas of the terrain.
The alert for the incident was received at 8:15 p.m. this Friday through the Generalitat Emergency Coordination Center. From that moment, a device was activated that included aerial and ground resources to slow the advance of the flames during the night.
On Saturday, the operation includes the participation of four aerial assets, a helitransported unit of Forest Firefighters, a volunteer firefighter crew, and several ground units. Additionally, the incorporation of three more Forest Firefighter units is planned to reinforce the efforts.
So far, emergency services have indicated that no damage to homes has been reported and no injuries have been recorded due to the fire.
