Alcoi's Teatre Calderón Announces Autumn 2026 Season with 16 Shows

The Teatre Calderón in Alcoi has presented its professional program for Autumn 2026, featuring 16 shows spanning theater, music, opera, dance, circus, and family events.

The main stage in Alcoi will host a season combining major theatrical productions, music, opera, dance, circus, and family shows between September and December. Culture Councilor Elisa Guillem highlights the commitment to a diverse, high-quality offering for all audiences.
The season opens with Los que comen tierra by La Zafirina. Also featured are La Desconquista, a musical comedy by Ron Lalá; La verdad, starring Joaquín Reyes; and Original Greek by Marina Toniovic.
Music will play a significant role with performances such as Mozart's The Magic Flute by Ópera 2001; Mecano Forever. Una rosa es una rosa; and the symphonic concert Benvinguda al Nadal.
The commemoration of October 9th will include the presentation of the 9th of October Awards and a dance performance by choreographer Sara Bernabeu.
Dance, circus, and family shows will be represented by Ballant, Ballant from Company Teatre Micalet, Àkri by Manel Rosés, the concert 1, 2, 3... Qua! by Ramonets, the musical La Gata con botas by Eventime Teatro, and the Mago Hugo's new show, Imagina.
The musical Beetlejuice, an adaptation of Tim Burton's film, will be part of the TEATRAM program, alongside Teatro de las Esquinas' version of Marat-Sade.
Local programming includes events such as a conference by Baltasar Garzón, the Presentation of Festival Officials 2027, and the V Festival of Festival Music Interpretation. There will also be Santa Cecilia concerts, Christmas concerts, and the COPE Alcoi Christmas Carol Competition.
