Three students from the Degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics at the Alcoy Campus of the UPV, Roberto Navarro, Ivan Celda, and Alexandre Fernandez de la Puebla, have won the Arduino hackathon held on October 15th at the Urban Technology Park of Rodes, in Alcoy.

The competition, part of the Smart City and Big Data Conference, combined robotics, computer vision, creativity, and teamwork. Participants had to set up and program an Arduino UNO Q-based robot to tackle the challenge.
The high level of the participants highlighted the importance of coordination and experimentation in finding technological solutions. The winning team achieved victory in a day dedicated to learning by doing.
This experience offered students the opportunity to apply their knowledge, develop problem-solving and collaboration skills, and connect their university education with a practical challenge.
The Smart City Chair of the Alcoy Campus of the UPV, the Alcoy City Council, and Arduino sponsored the event.
