The Alcoi City Council, represented by its mayor, Toni Francés, and the Councilor for Tourism, Lorena Zamorano, hosted an institutional meeting with representatives from the Melilla Monumental City Foundation. This meeting is part of the celebration of the Alcoi Modernist Fair.
The meeting was attended by the Foundation's president, Francisco Díaz, along with technical staff from the entity and the General Directorate of Culture and Festivals of the Autonomous City of Melilla. The Foundation, which has responsibilities regarding modernism in Melilla, expressed its interest in strengthening collaboration between the two cities, recognized for their significant modernist heritage.
The exchange of experiences focused on the conservation, dissemination, and valorization of this architectural legacy. Furthermore, potential future collaboration avenues were explored to jointly promote this shared heritage.
