The Alcoy City Council, together with the Chamber of Commerce, today presented a pioneering initiative for the joint participation of six metal sector companies at the Metal Madrid fair, to be held on November 4th and 5th.

This initiative, being undertaken for the first time, aims to enhance the external projection of Alcoy's industrial fabric and facilitate new business and collaboration opportunities. The participating companies are: Hylinders, Industrias Seguí Alcoy, Mecanizados Berenguer, Oleohidráulica Jordà, Mecanizados XYZ, and Mecanizados Dany. They will all attend under a shared identity, 'Meetall', a brand that combines the concept of metal with the English words 'meet' and 'all', symbolizing the union of all participating companies.
The deputy mayor of Alcoy and councilor for Economic Promotion, Àlex Cerradelo, highlighted that this measure demonstrates «a firm commitment to real industry, the industry that does exist in Alcoy. An industry that is part of our productive economy and generates quality jobs».
The councilor for Industry, Elisa Guillem, emphasized the importance of joint work and the creation of a common identity to present Alcoy's companies in a coordinated manner, arguing that the 'Meetall' brand symbolizes the «will to unite, generate synergies, and showcase the potential of Alcoy's metal companies outside the city».
Lucía Pascual, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Alcoy, valued the collaboration between companies and institutions, stating that working together not only allows each company to become known but also to export the name and brand of Alcoy.
Representing the companies, Alfonso Díaz Seguí, from Industrias Seguí Alcoy, stressed the importance of collaboration to project the industrial fabric outside the city, expressing his conviction that «in future editions, more companies will join because it will be a success».
The joint participation in the Metal Madrid fair will offer the six companies space and visibility at a leading event, fostering contact with potential clients and collaborators and reinforcing Alcoy's presence in the industrial sector.
