Supermarket chain Masymas and Red Cross have joined forces to promote the 'Promotion of School Success' project in the Valencian Community, aiming to assist children in vulnerable situations.

The collaboration, starting today, August 19, and running until September 30, will take place across the 108 stores operated by Masymas in the provinces of Alicante, Castellón, and Valencia. The initiative originates from the company's headquarters in Pedreguer.
During the campaign period, Masymas customers can make a voluntary financial contribution at the checkout. The collected funds will be entirely managed by Red Cross to cover basic needs for students in vulnerable situations during the 2026-2027 academic year. This includes providing stationery supplies like notebooks and pens, offering personalized educational follow-up, and distributing healthy snacks to supplement the children's daily nutrition.
The campaign will be promoted in stores through specific posters and will be supported on the official social media profiles of both Masymas and Red Cross on platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
The 'Promotion of School Success' project, developed by Red Cross's Youth section, aims to provide educational and social tools to children at risk of exclusion. Last year, this initiative supported 1,776 children across 56 service points in the Valencian Community (23 in Alicante, 11 in Castellón, and 22 in Valencia).
Nationally, Red Cross annually assists over 700,000 vulnerable children and young people through various projects, with the support of more than 12,800 volunteers distributed across 345 centers.
