The Alicante Archaeological Museum (MARQ) will be open continuously from 10 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday to Saturday. On Sundays and holidays, the hours will be from 10 AM to 2 PM, when both the temporary exhibition “Gold and the Universe. Indigenous Knowledge of Colombia” and the museum's permanent collections can be visited.
At the archaeological sites of Lucentum and La Illeta, winter hours will be Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM and from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. On Sundays and holidays, the hours will be from 10 AM to 2 PM. Both the museum and the sites will be closed on Mondays for maintenance tasks and staff rest.
The Almohad Tower of Almudaina will have visiting hours from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays from 10 AM to 1 PM. Additionally, on Saturdays, it will be open in the afternoon from 4 PM to 7 PM. It will also be closed to the public on Mondays.
For those interested in visiting the Neolithic site of Cova de l’Or and its interpretation center in Beniarrés, they reopen their season starting Saturday, September 12th. Visits take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 AM and 11:30 AM, with the meeting point at the interpretation center, from where a minibus transports visitors to the path leading to the site, including an interpretive tour of the landscape.
In the municipality of Castell de Castells, the Rock Art Interpretation Center will maintain winter hours from Monday to Thursday by appointment only at 965 51 80 67. On Fridays and Saturdays, hours will be from 11 AM to 1:30 PM and from 5 PM to 7:00 PM. On Sundays, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM.
The visit to Cava Gran de Agres will continue to be free access, subject to the regulations of the Serra Mariola Natural Park.
