The hotel chain easyHotel is finalizing preparations for the inauguration of its first establishment in Alicante, which will open its doors in early October with 96 rooms.

The international chain specializing in affordable tourist accommodation, easyHotel, is set to launch its first establishment in the province of Alicante in early October. The hotel stands out for its capacity and strategic location, situated at a key point connecting with the Provincial Auditorium (Adda) and the multi-purpose building of the Bullring.
This location, with significant cultural projection, will be further enhanced by the opening of the International Museum of Las Cigarreras. The municipal government aims to make this museum a central element of the 'Alicante Nuevo Centro' project, designed to revitalize the neighborhoods of San Antón, Carolinas, and Campoamor. Additionally, the redevelopment of San Vicente street is planned to prioritize pedestrian use.
The establishment will feature 96 rooms, distributed across seven floors of a new building. It will also include its own underground parking, with spaces for electric vehicle charging. According to sources from the chain, the hotel will offer visitors a comfortable option with excellent value for money to discover the city.
The British chain announced its plans for Alicante in April 2024, following an agreement with developer Xpandia Projects. Foundation work began around October 2024 on a plot on Avenida de Alcoy. The building, spanning 2,900 square meters, incorporates sustainability measures such as the use of recyclable materials.
The launch of this hotel will not only expand the city's accommodation offerings but also create employment opportunities. It is estimated that the new establishment will have a staff of 15 people. With this opening, easyHotel will add its fifth establishment in Spain, joining those already operating in Madrid, Barcelona, and València.
EasyHotel's arrival in Alicante follows the recent opening of the Porta Ferrisa hotel and B&B hotels in the city. Furthermore, the opening of a new hotel by the French chain Accor under the Greet brand, adding 65 rooms, and the Hotel Bazán project with 28 more rooms, are anticipated. There is also a proposal for a 106-room establishment promoted by Well and Come, and another by Sercotel with 72 rooms.
