The Department of Social Welfare of the Alicante City Council, in collaboration with various local entities, has presented the calendar of events for Pride LGTBIQ+ 2026, which will take place from July 6 to 18.

Under the slogan "They are human rights, we are not an ideology", the initiative seeks to promote equality and diversity in society. The program of activities includes a variety of proposals such as talks, colloquiums, theatrical performances, cinema, music, and historical routes, designed to encourage citizen participation and reflection on human rights.
The Department of Equality has highlighted that these proposals aim to advance the construction of a more inclusive and respectful city. All citizens are invited to join the different events to make diversity visible and defend coexistence.
The commemoration will culminate on Saturday, July 18, with the official demonstration. The march will start at 19:00 from Plaza de los Luceros and will end at 21:00 at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where the manifesto will be read and various musical performances will take place.
