Alicante City Council has opened a grant call endowed with 16,150 euros to fund education and awareness initiatives regarding sustainable development and social justice.

The Local Government Board has approved this aid program, which will allow for grants of up to 3,000 euros per project. The main objective is to support non-profit entities and NGOs with at least two years of experience in the city.
According to the council, the subsidized activities must be aimed at the Alicante population and may include training, communication, or awareness actions. These proposals can be carried out in both formal and informal education settings, ranging from early childhood to university levels.
This initiative, managed through the Department of Public Rights, seeks to strengthen local commitment to cooperation and solidarity. It aims to promote active citizenship that respects cultural diversity, consolidating human rights values within the municipality.
