The University of Alicante (UA) is participating for the sixth consecutive year in the Fira de Tots Sants de Cocentaina, held from October 30 to November 1, with its own exhibition stand located at Passeig del Comtat.

The UA's University Headquarters in Cocentaina coordinates an institutional program featuring scientific outreach, culture, research, university guidance, and multilingualism promotion, aiming to bring the academic institution closer to the public.
The official inauguration of the Fair, on Friday, October 30 at 11 AM, will be reduced to the reading of the Privilege due to the official mourning for the train accident in Toledo. Representing the UA will be Catalina Iliescu, Vice-Rector for Culture, Sport, and University Extension; María Jesús Pastor, Vice-Rector for Transfer, Entrepreneurship, and Scientific Outreach; Larissa Timofeeva, Deputy Vice-Rector for University Extension; José Luis Todolí, Deputy Vice-Rector for Knowledge Transfer; and José Miguel Molina, Director of the Cocentaina Headquarters.
Throughout the three days, the UA will have a space with three modules combining permanent information areas with practical and participatory activities. The Publications Service will showcase titles from its collections, while the Information Service will provide details on academic offerings and university services.
The Vice-Rectorate for Research will present its main lines of research and recent achievements, and the Language Service will promote its multilingualism programs. As a novelty, a shop selling UA-branded products will be available, a small-scale replica of the campus's UA Store.
The program includes activities such as "Science with Art: the sounds of stones" (Friday 30), "From A to Z: an immersive journey into ancient and medieval writing" (Saturday 31 morning), and "Suitcases of land and sea: the history of Valencian migrations" (Saturday 31 afternoon).
The Mediterranean Gastronomy Center Gasterra-UA will offer an olive oil making workshop, and the Sports Service will organize traditional Valencian games activities.
Participation in the Fair strengthens the UA's relationship with Cocentaina and surrounding regions, showcasing its teaching, research, cultural, and knowledge transfer activities.
