The University of Alicante (UA), in collaboration with the Alicante Blood Transfusion Center, is organizing a blood and bone marrow donation marathon on October 20th and 21st on campus.

The initiative, which has been developed for years through Healthy University, aims to raise awareness and promote health among the university community, being one of the most participatory actions.
Donations will take place in Aularios I and II, the Faculty of Sciences, Education, and at the Mobile Blood Bank. From Healthy University, they emphasize that "donating blood and bone marrow is a concrete way to care for collective health and directly contribute to saving lives with a very simple gesture".
As an incentive, the Transfusion Center will give a t-shirt to those who participate. Additionally, Healthy University, in collaboration with the Student Council of the University of Alicante (CEUA) and marking its 40th anniversary, will raffle 10 batches of UA products among participants. The kits will include a CEUA t-shirt, mug, notebook, bottle, bag, bracelet, and mobile phone holder.
