The mayor of Losa del Obispo, David Pérez, met on Wednesday, September 23rd, with Juan Sanchis, head of the Geological Risks area at the Valencia Provincial Council. The meeting aimed to discuss various problems related to ground stability and geological risk prevention in the municipality.
During the meeting, the Town Hall conveyed to the Provincial Council the need for specialized technical advice and assistance, as well as economic support. These aids are crucial for studying and implementing the necessary actions in various parts of the municipal area.
Among the analyzed areas are the La Cava ravine, La Canaleta, and different sections of roads and paths. In these locations, it is essential to study current conditions and establish the most suitable measures to ensure safety and stability.
The Town Hall's primary objective is to advance in the protection and stabilization of the affected areas. This will be achieved through actions that reduce existing risks and, simultaneously, establish preventive measures against potential landslides, ground movements, erosion, and other phenomena associated with geological risks.
The Town Hall will continue to work collaboratively with the Valencia Provincial Council. The aim is to identify priority actions, evaluate the most appropriate technical solutions, and seek the necessary funding avenues to implement them.
