The festive day in Bigastro began with the Charamita at 9:00 AM, followed by the route of the Tío del Tractor at 12:00 PM, which distributed beer to combat the high temperatures. After a popular tapas event on Antonio Gálvez street, the most anticipated moment arrived: the Water Parade at 7:00 PM.
The different groups departed from Parque de la Cruz, parading through the streets with enthusiasm. Residents and participants created a true water festival with buckets and hoses, turning the town's streets into a refreshing stage.
The night continued at Parque Huerto del Cura with a stand-up comedy show by humorist Toni Rodríguez, followed by a performance by the group Black Night and music by DJ Reina until the early hours.
Today, the festive program continues with a new day. The Charamita will go out at 9:00 AM, and the youngest ones will enjoy water inflatables on Acequia street at 11:00 AM. The Tío del Tractor will make its last run at 12:00 PM.
One of the central events will be the Flower Offering in honor of San Joaquín, at 8:00 PM, with a parade from Unamuno street to Plaza de la Constitución, where a Field Mass will be held.
Music will once again be the protagonist at 11:00 PM with the Extraordinary Concert of San Joaquín, by the Sociedad Unión Musical de Bigastro, conducted by Diego Carrillo Soler, in the Plaza de la Constitución. The night will conclude with performances by La Hornet, DJ del Puerto, and DJ Manu Díaz.
