Given the extensive area of the Calles municipality, which includes rural and mountainous zones with complex access, the new vehicle will facilitate the transport of municipal operational staff to difficult-to-reach points. It will also be able to carry material, equipment, and tools for carrying out repairs and operational interventions within the municipal area.
This acquisition will significantly enhance the response and prevention capacity for potential emergency situations or natural disasters, strengthening the safety and maintenance of local infrastructure.
The contract, with an award amount of €49,605.16 (VAT included), was made possible by a subsidy from the Provincial Council of Valencia for Natural Disaster Prevention. The company awarded the vehicle supply contract is TRANSTEL, S.A.
With this new addition, the Calles City Council reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the natural environment, the safety of local infrastructure, and improving technical resources for all residents.
