Forest fire controlled in the Más de Falcó area, between Castellfort and Cinctorres

Extinguishing crews have managed to stabilize the fire after three hours of intense work in the area.

A forest fire declared this Sunday around 2:00 PM in the municipality of Castellfort, specifically in the Más de Falcó area, has been brought under control.

The fire affected an area of approximately 1,500 square meters. The rapid intervention of emergency teams allowed the flames to be stabilized in just over three hours from the start of the incident.
The extinguishing efforts involved a crew from the Castellón Provincial Firefighters, two units from the Generalitat Valenciana Forest Fire Service, three aerial assets, and a forest coordinator.
Currently, crews continue to work on the ground to cool the affected area and carry out surveillance tasks to prevent any potential flare-ups.
