The Provincial Council of Alicante, through a Government Board agreement adopted on July 1, 2026, has approved the granting of a subsidy of 3,000 euros to the La Romana Town Hall. This financial aid is intended to cover 70.84% of the total cost for the clearing and cleaning of the margins of several sections of the rural paths: Canicios, Pomares, and Palaus.
The total amount planned for this intervention amounts to 4,235.00 euros. The subsidy falls under Line 4, named "Promotion of Agriculture and maintenance of the rural environment – Current Expenses," as part of the subsidy call from the Provincial Council of Alicante for the 2026 annual period, managed by the Department of Economic Development and Productive Sectors.
