The show "Tarquim", premiered on March 13, 2026, will feature a selection of traditional Valencian rhythms such as jota, habanera, velatorio, fandango, cant de batre, seguidilla, cant d’estil, lullaby, and romance, with new lyrics and a contemporary sound.
The concert, sponsored by the Institut Valencià de Cultura as part of the agreement with the La Romana City Council for the Valencian Cultural Circuit, will have free admission.
The program will begin at 8:00 PM with the first part of Jonatan Penalba's concert. At 8:45 PM, the poet Vicent Andrés Estellés will be remembered with musical accompaniment by Joan Pina. The second part of Penalba's concert will start at 9:15 PM, followed by a "cabasset" dinner (bring your own food) at 10:00 PM.
The evening will be presented by Arianna Cerdá. The event is organized by the Coordinadora per a la XXVIII Trobada d’Escoles en Valencià de les Valls del Vinalopó and the La Romana City Council.
