The local government, through the Social Services department, has formalized this aid for twelve entities within the local associative network. The main objective is to strengthen programs that complement public care and are essential for the inclusion and well-being of Petrer residents.
The funded projects cover a wide variety of areas, such as psychological care, speech therapy, rehabilitation, cognitive stimulation, and socio-labor insertion. Activities for active aging, family support, and workshops for caregivers are also included, among other initiatives focused on mental health and equality.
According to municipal sources, this collaboration seeks to reach sectors of the population that require specialized support. The beneficiary entities, which include associations for people with disabilities, families of Alzheimer's patients, and children's groups, receive essential support to continue their daily work.
