The calendar of events includes a wide variety of proposals such as memory workshops, domino, parchis, and petanque championships, as well as gymnastics sessions and dance days. The goal of this initiative is to promote coexistence and well-being for the group, while highlighting their contribution to the social life of Novelda.
Activities will begin on Monday, September 28, with a gymnastics session at the Pabellón. During the following days, the Francisco Alted Palomares Center will host the different championships, where registrations can also be made. The central event will take place on October 1, coinciding with the international commemoration, with the reading of a manifesto at the City Hall and a festive march to the Civic and Social Center.
“"This program aims to make visible and value the role of older people in our society, while promoting active aging through activities that favor participation, social relationships, and well-being."
The program will be completed with memory workshops and various dance days, highlighting the event on Saturday, October 3, for the Nit Oberta. All proposals are free for the public.
