The Youth Department of the Elda City Council has presented a new program of activities designed to foster learning, artistic expression, and healthy leisure among the municipality's young people. These initiatives, which are completely free, will take place at the Civic and Youth Center.
Starting next September, three notable proposals will be offered: the Valencian Conversation Workshop (Level C1), the Youth Leisure Club, and the Youth Theater Workshop. The Valencian workshop will begin on September 10th, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, focusing on strengthening oral expression and preparing for the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV) exams.
For its part, the Youth Leisure Club will kick off on September 11th and will run every Friday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, until December 18th. This club will include workshops and participatory dynamics aimed at teamwork and responsible use of free time. The Youth Theater Workshop will begin its sessions on September 14th, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, offering a space to enhance creativity, interpretation, and personal development through the performing arts.
As explained by the Councilor for Youth, Anabel García, all activities are free and are primarily aimed at young people between 14 and 30 years old. Registrations will remain open until full capacity is reached, as places are limited to ensure pedagogical quality and active participation.
With this program, the Elda City Council reaffirms its commitment to the youth collective, consolidating public spaces that promote local talent, social cohesion, and continuous training.
