The Local Police of Elda conducted a special control and surveillance campaign for motorcycles, mopeds, and Personal Mobility Vehicles (VMPs) over the weekend, issuing a total of 15 fines.

During the checks, eight fines were issued to VMP users for riding without a helmet, and the remainder to riders of two-wheeled vehicles for operating with tampered systems, without ITV (vehicle inspection), or without a driving license.
A moped rider was subject to a report for a road safety offense, having never obtained the administrative authorization to drive a motor vehicle.
Seven traffic and safety violations were recorded, including five for modified or ineffective exhaust systems, one for an expired ITV, and another for driving with an unexchanged foreign license.
The campaign, aimed at ensuring road safety, regulatory compliance, and reducing noise disturbances, will be carried out periodically in different areas of the city.
