This initiative, aimed at families and promoting sustainable mobility, maintains discounts on various types of passes. The Youth Pass, in particular, is aimed at students under 25 years of age.
Current prices include single urban tickets for 0.75 euros and interurban for 1.50 euros. Special passes include the Youth Pass (11 euros for 20 trips), Large Family Social Pass (4 euros for 10 trips), Retired Pass (3 euros for 20 trips), and the Asprodis Social Pass (free, 60 trips) for people with disabilities.
The increase in service usage is reflected in the 680 card applications processed this year, 17.85% more than the 577 for all of 2025. Of these, 280 correspond to urban transport and 400 to interurban transport.
The Councilor for Urban Mobility, Silvia Ibáñez, highlighted the local government's commitment to a sustainable, efficient, and accessible city, as set out in the Elda 2030 Strategic Plan. According to Ibáñez, reducing vehicle traffic contributes to lowering emissions and the carbon footprint.
By consolidating these fares, the Elda City Council reaffirms its commitment to the environment, universal accessibility, and the provision of efficient transport alternatives for all citizens.
