The exhibition, inaugurated at 8:00 PM, showcases photographic work exploring the artistic and expressive possibilities of the image, reflecting Maestre's journey in her development as a photographer.
Maestre, born in Elda in 1986, began her photographic training in late 2018 with the Elda Photographic Association (AFE). She later delved into contemporary photography at the Mistos school in Alicante, where she developed her first project, ‘Sonata Fantasma’, leading to participation in festivals and being a finalist for scholarships from La Máquina de Madrid in 2022.
Her career includes participation in contests such as El lobo y el Madroño (2021) and Sarthou Carreres (2025), and winning the ‘Elda en fotografies’ contest in the same year. The ‘Impronta’ work was a finalist for the 2026 Mezquita Prize in Córdoba.
The Councilor for Culture, Iñaki Pérez Rico, highlighted the department's support for local creators and the importance of exhibitions like ‘Impronta’ for gaining diverse perspectives and supporting artists.
Pérez Rico encouraged citizens to visit the exhibition, emphasizing the value of spaces like Foco Cultural as meeting points for artistic creation and for bringing quality proposals to all audiences.
The exhibition can be visited at the Foco Cultural Hall (Pablo Iglesias street, 45-47B) on Thursdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sundays, October 11th and 25th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The exhibition is supported by the Elda Photographic Association (AFE) on its 30th anniversary.
