Alcoy City Council has finalized the process to award the concession for two kiosks located in iconic public spaces in the city, specifically in La Glorieta park and La Rosaleda square.

In the case of La Glorieta, management has been awarded to the professional who was already running the La Pajarera kiosk-bar. This public domain concession has been formalized for an initial term of two years, with the possibility of extending the contract through annual renewals for up to two additional years. The municipal goal is to maintain the revitalization of this central space.
On the other hand, the La Rosaleda kiosk, which will offer bar-churrería service with a terrace, will reopen its doors following the completion of urban redevelopment works in Plaza de la Constitución. The new contract for this facility has been set for a ten-year period.
While the kiosk's reopening progresses, the situation regarding the La Rosaleda parking garage remains complex. The council has initiated procedures to terminate the contract with the current concessionaire, a process that could lead to legal action, keeping any new tender for the parking facility on hold.
