Riba-roja de Túria will host the 7th Offering to the Turia River on November 8th, a celebration that will bring together municipalities from Castilla-La Mancha, Aragón, and the Valencian Community to pay tribute to the river.

The mayor of Riba-roja de Túria, Robert Raga, and the Councilor for Tourism and Heritage, Esther Gómez, have presented the program of activities organized for this celebration, declared a festival of provincial tourist interest in 2010. The tradition, held since 1980, will gather towns, associations, and cultural entities linked to the Turia.
This year, the celebration takes on special significance after the Dana storm, which prevented its planned realization in 2025. The tribute will highlight the need to protect and respect this natural resource, also advocating for action against climate change. "We will highlight the need to protect and respect this precious natural resource," stressed Raga.
The program of events, running from October 24th to November 8th, includes photographic exhibitions, talks on the importance of water and sustainability, and the Ecoriba Awards Gala on November 5th. The 1st Meeting of environmental associations for the Turia River will also take place, with the reading of a manifesto and a symbolic release of eels.
On November 8th, the day will begin with the reception of participating municipalities at 11:00 AM at the Town Hall, followed by a parade to the Castell de Riba-roja and the subsequent floral offering at Camí de les Ànimes, accompanied by the Banda Sinfónica Unió Musical de Riba-roja de Túria. The celebration will conclude with a popular tasting of rice dishes.
This event will coincide with the IX Festa del Dux, which honors the Visigothic heritage of the municipality and the archaeological sites of Pla de Nadal and València La Vella. The festival will feature a Visigothic market and a reenactment of the Pact of Tebdemir.
