The project aims to ensure the continuity of the water supply service and reduce incidents caused by the age of the current fiber-cement pipeline, which has suffered numerous breaks in recent years. The new infrastructure will be installed using ductile iron material.
The work, which has a four-month execution period, includes the renovation of 620 meters of pipeline, as well as the installation of 12 service connections, 5 general valves, and 4 branches. In parallel, the council is redeveloping Virgen del Carmen, Mayor, and Fuerzas Armadas streets, where the water network is also being updated.
The management company has reported that they will notify residents in advance of any supply cuts necessary for the connections. Citizens are recommended to update their contact details at customer service offices to receive notifications via email or SMS.
