Under the slogan «Solidarity that unites us», the L'Eliana City Council and the association L'ElianaVol, along with residents of Venezuelan origin, are organizing this solidarity event on Saturday, October 10th. The event will take place in the Plaza del País Valencià, from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM, offering a blend of culture, gastronomy, crafts, and family activities open to everyone.
The morning program will include dance performances, children's activities with APLAE, a wellness session led by Carolina Leal, face painting, and board games. Ambient music and craft and food stalls will offer Venezuelan specialties such as arepas, tequeños, cachapas, and empanadas throughout the midday.
In the afternoon, traditional Venezuelan music and pop groups will take the stage. The musical program will begin at 5:00 PM with Ensamble Coral Venezuela, followed by Dissonants, Banda Lunenz, Banda Cosmos, and concluding with Banda Tástau.
During the event, L'ElianaVol will manage a solidarity raffle with prizes donated by businesses, organizations, and individuals, including the sculpture «Solidaridad» by Lorna Benavides, breakfasts, vouchers, books, and wellness experiences.
The Councilor for Volunteering, Jorge Pérez Comeche, has thanked the participants for their commitment and encouraged citizens to attend an event that will allow them to learn about Venezuelan culture and strengthen ties between peoples.
