This new initiative stems from the evolution of the existing youth book club, whose participants have grown and gained extensive experience as readers. The proposal now aims to facilitate the exchange of opinions and perspectives between different generations, creating new spaces for dialogue and coexistence.
Whenever possible, readings will be offered in both Spanish and Valencian, with the aim of facilitating participation and also promoting the use of the local language. The club's dynamic will involve reading one book per month and holding a monthly meeting to share impressions, reflections, and different viewpoints on the work.
The club is scheduled to begin the last week of September, with meetings held on the third Thursday of each month. Registrations are now open via email at biblioteca@leliana.es and by phone at 962 74 23 71.
Throughout the year, the Municipal Library maintains a stable program of reading and cultural animation activities for all ages. For children and young people, it organizes storytelling sessions, literary festivals, theater, game afternoons, and creative workshops. The program also includes book presentations, talks, debates, and book clubs for adults.
