The exhibition, open until October 23rd, presents ten different approaches to artistic practice as a research tool. The works explore themes such as landscape, the body, memory, migration, gender, childhood, violence, ruin, and domestic space as territories for reflecting on contemporary experience.
The UMH graduate artists participating in 'Constelación. MUPIA.26' are Ane Urzelai, Antonia Abellán, Chiara Renda, Delia Lanchas, Fran Puche, Irantzu Venegas, Liz Mas, Jana Viudes, María G. Cascales, and Meri Palace. The exhibition's coherence lies precisely in this diversity, where each proposal maintains its individual position, but new relationships and interpretations emerge from their proximity to others.
The exhibition's inauguration will take place tomorrow, Friday, at 6:30 PM, and will be led by UMH professors Elisa Lozano, David Trujillo, Patricia Escario, and Miguel Lorente. The exhibition's graphic identity also incorporates AQUA, the Department of Art, the Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea, the Center for Research in Arts (CíA), and the Miguel Hernández University.
