Workshops for Seniors in Gran Alacant

The Department of Social Services is organizing four free sessions to promote the quality of life and social inclusion of the elderly.

The Department of Social Services of Santa Pola is organizing four free workshops at the Gran Alacant International Library for individuals aged 55 to 70, aiming to promote quality of life and social inclusion.

The training project, titled “My Life From Now On”, will consist of four sessions held on September 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th. The first session, on September 15th, will focus on retirement, widowhood, and associated stereotypes. September 17th will concentrate on physical, emotional, and mental self-care.
The third session, scheduled for September 22nd, will address identity, social networks, and community participation. Finally, September 24th will conclude the cycle with a final session dedicated to life projects.
These workshops are led by the Fundación Pilares, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Social Rights. They will take place at the Gran Alacant International Library from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Registration is now open and can be completed at the library or by calling 966697110. Groups are limited to a maximum of 15 participants.
